{"id":15699,"date":"2023-09-07T16:39:42","date_gmt":"2023-09-07T16:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resources.estateably.com\/us\/2022-changes-to-ontario-probate-form-74h-consent\/"},"modified":"2024-04-24T15:02:07","modified_gmt":"2024-04-24T15:02:07","slug":"2022-changes-to-ontario-probate-form-74h-consent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resources.estateably.com\/us\/2022-changes-to-ontario-probate-form-74h-consent\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 Changes To Ontario Probate Form 74H &#8211; Consent"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"\">Changes to Ontario Probate Form 74H<\/h2>\n<p id=\"\">\u200d<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"\">Form 74H Consent replaces:<\/h3>\n<ul id=\"\">\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.12 Consent to Applicant&#8217;s Appointment as Estate Trustee with a Will<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.12.1 Consent to Applicant&#8217;s Appointment as Estate Trustee with a Will Limited to the Assets Referred to in the Will<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.19 Consent to Applicant&#8217;s Appointment as Estate Trustee without a Will<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.22 Consent to Applicant&#8217;s Appointment as Succeeding Estate Trustee with a Will<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.22.1 Consent to Applicant&#8217;s Appointment as Succeeding Estate Trustee with a Will Limited to the Assets Referred to in the Will<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.25 Consent to Applicant&#8217;s Appointment as Succeeding Estate Trustee without a Will<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"\">\nThe beneficiaries consenting to the application by the applicant must select the checkbox that is appropriate to their situation.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the second paragraph, relating to the testamentary document of the deceased, should be removed in an intestacy.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, as in the prior version of the Consent, the person consenting can also consent to an order dispensing with the filing of a bond by the applicant. In the new version of the estate court form, the option takes the form of a box to be checked, rather than a paragraph to be added or deleted.<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">\u200d<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">\n<h4 id=\"\">This and all other 2022 Ontario Probate form changes are now published and available in Estateably.
