{"id":15697,"date":"2023-09-07T16:39:42","date_gmt":"2023-09-07T16:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resources.estateably.com\/us\/2022-changes-to-ontario-probate-form-74g-renunciation\/"},"modified":"2024-04-24T15:02:19","modified_gmt":"2024-04-24T15:02:19","slug":"2022-changes-to-ontario-probate-form-74g-renunciation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resources.estateably.com\/us\/2022-changes-to-ontario-probate-form-74g-renunciation\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 Changes To Ontario Probate Form 74G &#8211; Renunciation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"\">Changes to Ontario Probate Form 74G<\/h2>\n<p id=\"\">\u200d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"\">Form 74G Renunciation replaces:<\/h2>\n<ul id=\"\">\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.11 Renunciation of Right to a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee (or Succeeding Estate Trustee) with a Will<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Form 74.18 Renunciation of Prior Right to a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee without a Will<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"\">\nAs seen on the other new Ontario estate court forms effective January 1, 2022, the Renunciation replaces the two previous versions (with and without a Will).<\/p>\n<p>As such, the persons renouncing must select the checkbox that is appropriate for their situation.<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">Additionally, in the case of an intestacy, the persons renouncing must indicate whether their right to apply for a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee was in priority, or in equal right, to the applicant.<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">\u200d<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">\u200d<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"\">This and all other 2022 Ontario Probate form changes are now published and available in Estateably.
